Armed homeowner confronts squatter who invaded his house while traveling overseas

An alleged squatter was arrested in Florida after a homeowner fresh off a seven-month trip to New Zealand said he returned to his house and found it trashed and burglarized.

60-year-old homeowner orders suspected car burglars to get lost — then one starts shooting. But homeowner also has a gun — and responds with lethal force.

A 60-year-old homeowner in west Houston ordered a pair of suspected car burglars to get away from his property last weekend, but one of the perps apparently didn’t like that very much and opened fire.
