Expansion of Those Disqualified for Firearm Ownership 

Another major piece of legislation to keep an eye on is the End Gun Violence Act of 2021 or H.R.5877.

This legislation, which was introduced into Congress by Colorado Democrat Joe Neguse, will expand the list of those disqualified from firearm ownership. On the list of those disqualified from firearm ownership are those convicted of certain misdemeanors, which is a huge change from simply having felons on the list.
