A woman armed with a rifle shot and severely wounded a man who was breaking into her home in Longview, Texas. 

The woman noticed the man on her porch trying to get into her home. She asked him to leave and he responded by trying to break down the glass sliding door with his fist. This was when she shot the trespasser. 

The local sheriff hailed the woman’s actions saying “an excellent example of the importance of our Second Amendment.”
