The Georgia Senate has passed Constitutional Carry.

In what can only be described as good news for the state, the Georgia Senate passed Constitutional Carry in a 34-22 vote that as you might suspect went along party lines.

This legislation will be moving on to the Georgia House and if it passes there it will be going to Governor Brian Kemp’s desk. The odds are in the factor of 2A activists in this case as the Georgia House or Representatives is divided 103-77 in favor of Republicans, in all likelihood the bill will pass.

Governor Brian Kemp has been a big voice for 2A in recent months and has been pushing this type of legislation. Kemp, in theory, should sign the bill.

Things are looking good for the 2nd Amendment and with a heated election cycle you can expect vulnerable Republicans to start pushing popular legislation like Constitutional Carry across the nation.
