Idaho is another phenomenal state for hunters. Idaho has about 15% of its residents participating in the sport and about 60% of all land in Idaho is public land. 

The state is home to many different species and has a diverse range of habitats where you can find elk, turkey, mountain lions, black bear, and so much more. The state also allows for certain controlled moose, antelope, and bighorn sheep hunts.
