Beta O’Rourke is back… This is anything but good news for gun owners in Texas unless of course, you are running against him.

Beto O’Rourke is back in Texas politics and will be running for Governor. O’Rourke’s previous foray in politics involved a run for Senate against Senator Ted Cruz, where he suffered a humiliating defeat, and a bid for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination, where he suffered a humiliating defeat.

Beto O’Rourke announced his intention to run for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination in Texas this past Monday. In his announcement, O’Rourke doubled down on his previous promises to confiscate the “assault weapons” that are in the hands of everyday Americans.

For those who do not recall, O’Rourke cemented a legacy of gun-grabbing while making previous runs for different offices. O’Rourke’s most prominent agenda item as a candidate, and potential elected official, is gun control. During one of the Democratic primary debates O’Rourke said “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.”

O’Rourke followed up on this comment in an interview with the media where he clarified that he not only supported outlawing the sale of AR-15s but the confiscation of those rifles currently in circulation. “If someone does not turn in an AR-15, or an AK-47, one of these weapons of war, or brings it out in public and brandishes it in an attempt to intimidate—as we saw in Kent State recently—then that weapon will be taken from them,” O’Rourke told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. O’Rourke would also threaten gun owners in this interview by saying “if they persist, there will be other consequences from law enforcement.”

On an unrelated note, Beto O’Rourke’s real name isn’t Beto, his name is Robert O’Rourke and he picked up Beto as a nickname from one of his childhood nannies.

Current Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, should not have a lot to worry about in a race against Beto O’Rourke. A political spokesperson for Abbott, Mark Miner, said in a statement that “the last thing Texans need is President Biden’s radical liberal agenda coming to Texas under the guise of Beto O’Rourke.”

Beto O’Rourke is a gun grabber through and through, there are no redeeming qualities about his proposals for American gun owners. O’Rourke was completely demolished in the state of Texas when he ran against Ted Cruz for his Senate seat, the betting odds favor incumbent Greg Abbott by a significant margin.

He’s a straight up weasel. And weasels are only good for one thing. In his case he’s actually worse then a weasel. He;s a enemy to this country and the people. I don’t usually back taking people out. But in his case along with a few others they need to be EXECUTED.

Governor? His resume is too well known. He majored in English literature and fled from a DUI but was detained by a news reporter. He burglarized a college. He was a teen computer hacker. He also stole long distance service. Worked as a manny. Failed as a musician. Sweats a lot. Fidgets. Skateboards. Talks to strangers while using public urinals. Uses vile language in public but doesn’t understand constitutional amendments. He’s a democrat and once was Biden’s choice to disarm America. Governor of Texas? I don’t think so.

He once made a speech that revealed his ignorance of the fact that bazookas aren’t illegal. Anyone following 2nd Amendment issues knows bazookas are legal, albeit heavily regulated and expensive. Perhaps he doesn’t know tanks also are legal if one acquires a Destructive Device permit. Perhaps he’s not aware of the reason people own firearms. Perhaps he’s doesn’t know operation of a bazooka requires two people. Perhaps he also doesn’t know bazookas and tanks aren’t effective against burglars and carjackers.

Regarding his run for the senate against Ted Cruz, it was humiliating only because Cruz never lifted a finger to oppose him. I considered it overconfidence. Fact is, the vote scared the bejesus out of his voting bloc, especially me. It was a very thin margin of 50.9 to 48.3 percent. Many lazy conservatives never dreamed it would be this close and stayed home. We were shocked.  I hope Governor Abbott uses all his (ahem) big guns and truly humiliates this kid into finding other ways to earn a living. Oh wait…he doesn’t need to work.
