Walther PPK – James Bond

James Bond recives his new Walther PPK in the 007 film Skyfall / Screenshot from Skyfall

James Bond is an iconic series, to say the least. 007 is a true legend and these works have become cultural references that are still used today.

The iconic pistol from the first movies, the Walther PPK, is an iconic firearm that many Americans picked up just because of its role in the iconic spy film.

James Bond was first seen using this gun in the original 007 film, Dr.No. Bond would use the Walther PPK for several more films until he would be given the more modern P99. After Bond’s stint with that firearm he would again switch over to the PPK in Quantum of Solace, there was a brief gunbattle the PPK was seen in during Casino Royale but the official change came with Quantum of Solace

The Walther PPK is an iconic German pistol that, when first introduced into the market, revolutionized the idea of concealed carry. This small pistol packs a punch and is generally available in .380 but some more modern models are available in other calibers. There is a reason this pistol is still selling despite having been first introduced over 80 years ago.
