A convicted felon attempted to rob two different gun stores in Pennsylvania, he ultimately failed in both robberies and is now facing 18 months in jail.

Jerwahn Atkins is facing 18 months in prison after a short series of failed robberies. Atkins and his two brothers, Jamir and Jerquay, attempted to rob two separate gun stores in the Keystone State. The men attempted to gain entry to the stores after hours by using a crowbar to pry open the front door, after setting the alarms off they fled.

Jarwahn Atkins was a career criminal, he had previously been convicted of several crimes including firearms charges. Atkins was not allowed to own any firearms and he tried to steal them, officials have reason to believe that if he had been successful he would have used these stolen firearms in other crimes.

Gun control did not stop Atkins from trying to obtain firearms. Laws are on the book to stop criminals like Atkins from owning guns, but Atkins still tried to get more guns. Do the gun grabbers really think that disarming normal, law-abiding citizens, will stop criminals like Atkins from continuing to commit crimes?
