Mom With 8-Year Old Defends Against Home Invader
A 21-year old man attempted to invade a home in Sugar Land, Texas when he was met with the armed homeowner.
The homeowner heard someone trying to get into the house through the back door, she grabbed her gun and went to investigate. She found the home invader attempting to crawl through the window and fired one round from her handgun. The round hit him in the chest and he soon fled the scene. Police were able to apprehend the suspect by following a trail of blood through the neighborhood.
The mother and her child were both ok and the home invader recovered from his wounds. The home invader was charged with burglary and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
