Kid Rock’s recent actions have been causing quite a stir online. The singer reportedly used a rifle to shoot several Bud Light beer cases in protest of Anheuser-Busch’s decision to make a transgender woman the face of its brand. Rock expressed his outrage in a video he shared on social media, where he can be seen destroying numerous beer cans with his firearm before declaring “F— Bud Light and f— Anheuser-Busch!”

Watch the video below:

The company had sent a pack of Bud Light with the transgender woman’s face on it to Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender activist who has been celebrating “365 Days of Girlhood” since transitioning from male to female. The move caused a wave of backlash, with many people expressing their anger on social media, including Kid Rock.

In the video, which begins with Kid Rock wearing a white “MAGA” hat, the performer can be seen firing his rifle at the Bud Light cases, causing beer to spill and cans to explode. His violent act has been met with criticism from many online users, who are calling out his behavior as dangerous and insensitive.

The decision to make a transgender woman the spokesperson for a major beer brand has sparked a debate about inclusivity and representation in advertising. While some have praised Anheuser-Busch for taking a progressive stance, others have accused the company of pandering to a small minority at the expense of its core customer base.

Anheuser-Busch has responded to the controversy with a statement saying, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points.”

It added, “From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
