Mark Lamb, also known as “America’s Sheriff” currently serves as the Sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona. Lamb was first elected to the position in 2016, and was reelected in 2020. The Arizona Sheriff has become a local celebrity for his demeanor as “America’s Sheriff,” as well as his frequent features on Fox News and his streaming on American Sheriff Network.

After becoming the first Republican Sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona in over 50 years, Lamb is exploring a possible run for the U.S. Senate, as he has met with the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) to discuss his possible campaign.

As a Senator, Lamb would be bringing his strong right-wing stances with him, as he has been a vocal critic of sanctuary cities and has been a strong advocate for securing the U.S. border with Mexico. He has also been an advocate for the Second Amendment and has spoken out against gun control measures.

During his time as Sheriff, Lamb has focused on combating drug trafficking and illegal immigration, as well as improving community relations between law enforcement and the public. He has also been a vocal advocate for school safety, and has implemented a program to train school personnel on how to respond to active shooter situations.

His strong stances on the U.S.-Mexico border along with his pro-Second Amendment stances make him a strong choice for Republicans, and his local fame may be enough to help carry him to a victory in the always difficult-to-predict state of Arizona.
