We all knew the United States military has been going woke for a while. Now, leadership has been caught advocating for full-fledged racial discrimination.
A video shows Air Force colonel Mark Wootan saying, “The only real guidance I put out there for them is stop hiring middle-aged white people, especially dudes that are pilots.”
Apparently “diversity is our strength” also applies to facing the enemy on the battlefield or flying a plane.
“Because honestly we all think alike too much,” Wootan continued. “And if we’re going to be preaching diversity and being inclusive then for crying out loud let’s back it up with that, let’s make the rhetoric meet the reality.”
It is not completely clear who Wootan was referring to specifically when he shared his hiring advice, but his reference to “dudes that are pilots” suggests some connection to the Air Force itself.
The popular unofficial Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page shared the caught-on-camera video recording back in February. The footage regained attention over the weekend as Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) shared it again on his Instagram account last week.
Crenshaw commented that the colonal advised the military to “be racist and sexist when recruiting!” He demanded an explanation from the Air Force but can we really expect a good one? What kind of explanation could actually justify this?
Crenshaw begs the question if this is “an acceptable statement from a leader, especially as the military struggles to recruit.”
He concluded with a powerful statement:
“Investigating wokeism in our military will be part of our oversight list when Republicans take back the House in November.”
Our nation’s military protects not only our home, but the western world. European countries spend very little on their armed forces because they know that America will protect them. Dictatorships around the world only keep their heads down because of our military might. This new direction the military is taking will have serious consequences.
However, all is not lost. If we take back the House, the Senate, and the Oval Office, we can reinstill American values in the armed forces. 2022 and 2024 are a vital proving ground for the future of our country. Let’s fight like hell.
