Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist said he will ban assault weapons by executive order on his first day in office if elected.

Crist had previously made the statement in an interview but reiterated his plan to instate the ban on his Twitter.

The Daily Wire reports:

“I’ll do it by executive order, day one,” he previously said during an interview clip with WPLG Local  10 News’ Glenna Milberg.

Crist has pledged to ban the sale of assault weapons in Florida if elected in a political ad criticizing his opponent, incumbent Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.

“(Not so) gentle reminder: Ron DeSantis vowed to pass a deadly permitless open carry law that is identical to the one in Texas,” he wrote.

In another Twitter post on Monday, Crist highlighted a quote he gave to a local news source: “’This is such garbage. We’ve got to stop this,’ Crist told the Sun Sentinel, calling for assault-weapon bans and expanded background checks for new gun owners.”

However, even if Crist manages to defeat DeSantis he will still likely face an uphill battle if he attempts to ban weapons via executive order. The move would nearly ensure legal battles from Second Amendment supporters.

Hate to tell Mr. Crist this, but that’s an Unconstitutional Action, and he’ll be shut down and probably Impeached in doing so.

Another empty Democrat promise that Democrar followers will fall for. Not only is this a promise of his tyranical rule over Floridians, Executive Orders such as this would simply be overruled in the courts. This type of ban will require legislative action, and he knows that; therefore, he knows it’s an empty promise, and he’s just hoping Floridians are as ignorant as he takes them for. If he truly doesn’t know this, then he’s just too incompetent to be governor.

Food shortages are happening because they are planned. It seems we are already at war but most don’t realize it yet…

The gangsters running America are the most evil, Satanic creatures to ever foul the air of our country. Not only were the food shortages pre-planned, but these mass shootings are being staged as well.
The mass shootings are just as much blood sacrifices as abortion are.

You folks are getting as bad as the “other side” of MSM. Chris says he will ban “assault weapons,” not the Second Amendment. You show a picture of a 357 Magnum/.410 revolver which no one on either side of the aisle has ever declared was an “assault weapon.” You just failed my fact check! Don’t create problems that aren’t there or you lose credibility.

Actually you are wrong, that is a little .22 revolver, an its not about the weapon, its about control. You need to study history about banning weapons/ confiscation.
