Gun sales are still on the up and up in America despite the Democrats putting in a good effort.
New research from the group SafeHome points to new data that indicates that while gun sales were down from 2020, 2021 was still a record breaking year for gun sales.
Sales fell in 2021 by 13% from 2020, but gun sales were still 40% higher than they were in 2019.
SafeHome also had data related to state specific gun sales. According to the organization; Texas, California, Pennsylvania, and Florida all had more than 1 million gun sales in 2021.
The group pointed out that Hawaii only saw 33 gun sales, the least of any state.
Another set of data brought forward by SafeHome was data on gun safety. The organization revealed in their report that more Americans than ever are signing up for classes and learning about proper gun safety through legitimate channels.
This is all good news for 2A activists, more gun owners and better educated gun owners means that legislative battles should be even more in our favor.
