The Virginia gubernatorial election is heating up and the gun grabbers are pulling every dirty trick in the book to push Democrat candidate Terry McAuliffe over the line.
Terry McAuliffe is fighting in a tough election, the country isn’t doing well and Democrats have control of the White House and Congress, margins are razor thin in Virginia and the Democrats will stop at nothing to win the governor’s mansion. McAuliffe is a gun grabber through and through, there is no sugar coating that, and because of his stance on guns the gun control lobby is stepping up to help enact his agenda.
Missive gun control groups like Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Guns have pledged nearly $2 million to keep the state of Virginia in the hands of the gun control lobby. This group originally dropped $1 million on Terry McAuliffe’s race in 2013 and $2.5 million in 2019 on legislative races.Â
As we have previously reported, Dominion power had funded a political group that used deceptive political advertising as a means to get Virginia voters to stay home on election day. Those ads claimed that Youngkin, Terry McAuliffe’s political opponent, was too hard on guns but ads were being run on the other side of the state saying that Youngkin was too soft on guns. These ads had one goal, get Republican voters to stay home so McAuliffe could win.
