Yeah, you read that headline right.

An 11-year-old boy and his 2 14-year-old accomplices were taken into custody following an outrageous high-speed chase on Interstate 80 in Nebraska.

A state troop spotted the kid’s car and pulled them over because the vehicle was reported as being stolen. As soon as the state trooper stepped out of his vehicle the children took off and a high-speed chase ensued. Note that this all occurred around 1 AM on Saturday.

The children’s vehicle reportedly reached 110 MPH at one point. During the chase, a handgun was thrown out of the car but another state trooper was able to retrieve it. The car eventually stopped near an underpass where the trio was arrested. Inside the car, the police found an additional firearm.

Police determined that the two firearms were stolen and they cited the 11-year old with several crimes(possession of a stolen firearm, theft, flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, obstruction and traffic violations)  and charged the 14-year-olds with possession of a stolen firearm.

This story is wild and it tells us something very important, those up to no good have no concern for the law. Did these mischievous children consult local laws prior to stealing two guns and a car? Going to have to go with no on that one.
