What happens when liberal judges say we have no right to bear arms, just to keep them? We get a Supreme Court showdown and that’s what is likely to happen.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that the State of Hawaii is allowed to ban any carry of weapons by citizens unless they show “urgency or need” and are engaged in “protection of life or property”. That’s kind of hard to square with “shall not be infringed” from the Constitution.
The conservative majority on the Supreme Court will be able to rely on the D.C. v. Heller ruling which states:
“We find they guarantee the right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation”
That’s pretty easy to understand and this should be a good opportunity to show the Leftists that the Constitution means what it says.
